A Lighthouse at the Edge of the World
Ever seen a lighthouse that looks like it's about to fall off the edge of the world?
This is Ponta da Barca on Graciosa Island in the Azores.
The lighthouse is the star, best seen from Baía do Forno, or "Boiling Bay".
And the cliffs aren’t just ordinary cliffs. They are actually lava flows, frozen in time. That's why they have such interesting shapes, like a whale for example.
This place is stunning, and the best part? Hardly any crowds! Just you, the views, and a chance to recharge.
