COVE - ABERDEEN

Aberdeen - Cove Coastal Path

Just south of Aberdeen, close to the new harbour in Nigg Bay, lies a breathtaking and picturesque coastal trail - the Aberdeen-Cove Coastal Path. This moderately easy hike is suitable for all fitness levels, although it's not recommended to push a pram on the path. Parking options are available near the railway bridge or in the village of Cove.
Don’t forget to take the camera with you! The trail presents a mesmerising array of rock pools, sea stacks, and rugged bays that will leave you in awe. And don't miss the charming small harbour at Cove, worth a visit in its own right.

Depending on your starting point, the trail offers a rewarding 5 to 7 miles return walk. However, you have the flexibility to explore shorter sections. For the most scenic and rugged terrain, head south towards Cove.
